Actually, everything you said was a lie.
Global warming is now incorporated in EVERY STORM large and small. It
may be 10%, it may be 25%. 25% more often, 25% stronger, 25% longer, 25%
wider.
Sandy is the widest storm ever recorded. Of the most expensive storms,
Sandy is in the top ten without the total even known yet. The flood
levels in NYC were a foot higher than the record set LAST YEAR by Irene,
a record high level never seen in 108 years the subway tunnels have
been there.
Everything you said was a lie.
In 1996, after the worst wildfires in known history burning in Indonesia
set by foresters clearing rainforest for corporate plantations that
released 40% more CO2 than the whole world produces each year, there was
an immediate response of global heating of ocean waters. 60% of all
corals came within one or two degrees from the heat-death temperatures
for the coral reefs that are nurseries for one third of all ocean life.
It only takes one hot year to kill 60% of the world's corals and kill
off 1/3rd of all ocean life, and we were two degrees away from that 17
years ago. We have gassed the planet with more CO2 since then.
Hurricanes are the heat relief that saves us from planet death. We have
to PRAY FOR HURRICANES if we want to live.
