There was NO CLAMPDOWN ON CONSERVATIVE GROUPS. The TEA PARTY is not conservative. It was founded by Tobacco Racketeers to get lower excise taxes on cigarettes and get people to smoke more (cheaper) cigarettes.

By the year 2000 the Koch group CSE had received over $1,000,000.00 from Philip Morris Tobacco Company, plus millions more from other tobacco companies.

By the year 2001, Bush's first year of his first term, CSE was test marketing the Tea Party with a protest riot in the State Capital Building in North Carolina. People threw Tea Bags around and protested excise tax increases. This was hosted by Koch's front group CSE and Art Pope's front group John Locke Institute, and the event can be googled as the TAR HEELS TEA PARTY.

Shame of Washington Post for using emotionally inflammable language to inaccurately and false describe the situation.

CONSERVATIVE GROUPS were not targeted specifically groups with TEA PARTY and/or PATRIOTS in the name received closer scrutiny. CONSERVATIVES were not targeted. If people using TEA PARTY and/or PATRIOTS received extra scrutiny from the IRS, there is a simple explanation that has nothing to do with conservatism.

On February 18th, 2010, Joe Stack flew his airplane into an Austin, Texas, IRS office, TARGETING THE IRS. One IRS agent was murdered in the terrorist attack and $38,000,000.00 worth of property damage occurred to the taxpayers of America.

With 24 hours the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS official Twitter account took credit for Joe Stack as one of theirs and called him "AN AMERICAN HERO".

Can anyone explain to me how 36,000 gun laws have failed to stop gun violence ? Yet ONE more is going to make a difference ?
Keeping in mind, ONLY law abiding citizens obey laws.
Which is why I was/am subjected to backgroung checks, required to take take state approved training and carry a license when I carry my weapon. WHAT ! other laws do YOU wish me to comply with ? that criminals will ignore ???

I want the traffickers of guns selling to criminals to bear equal guilt for every crime involving the gun that they delivered to evil hands. This requires tracking guns from the factory to the crime scene, with every transfer recorded the same as for your car VIN number.

We can't dry up the supply until we can put the fear of prison on the people who deliver the guns to evil hands. And we can't do that while fools believe they might have to fight Abrams M1 Tanks and Apache Helicopters and Drones and Seal Team Six with their imitation M16 lookalikes.

She is right about Roe v. Wade, although I do not agree with her about only overturing Texas law. They should have just left it alone. If all states are gaining momentum so would have Texas, eventually. But, the Court at the time, made a huge mistake by overturning every state law. States have the power to write and change laws. Roe v. Wade has never been generally accepted by everybody and was the wrong decision, hense the backlash today. It's possible that stare decisis might not be applied here if a case compelling enough got to the Court. My opinion only.

BS. Nothing in the constitution gives one "person" any rights to parasite and drain off the life fluids of another "person" without permission -- there goes the personhood gambit.

Nothing in the Constitution gives govt the power to invade the body of any citizen and force parenthood.

Nothing in the Constitution gives your religious beliefs about souls imparted by a busybody god compulsion over anybody who rejects such superstitions.

Nothing in the Constitution gives govt or society ownership over citizens and rights to compel them to be breeders at the whims and fashions of society.

Privacy of papers is guaranteed, privacy of home is guaranteed, privacy of personal knowledge is guaranteed -- how much more are the private parts guaranteed privacy -- they are, after all, private parts.

In America there are no "secret laws" -- all laws are written and known. There is no start point where state power over "private parts" was ever granted, and that private matter is reserved to the SOVEREIGN CITIZENS unless it was explicitly granted in writing to govt, which it never was.

The TEA PARTY had a website run by KOCH-CSE in 2002. It was then called "USTEAPARTY.com" and there are archived copies of it on Wayback machine at Archive.org. The Koch CSE morphed into Freedomworks and Americans for Prosperity in 2005 and the CSE website went down, but the Tea Party had been at work since at least 2001 when W Bush was freshly elected and they had already "taken their country back". Dick Armey's CSE hosted a TEA PARTY RIOT at the state house in North Carolina in conjunction with Art Pope's John Locke Institute in August 2001. Art Pope's Locke Institute was housed in the same offices as Koch's Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University on that date, sharing phone services and office personnel.

It is hard to have a public debate when he gets thousands of words of disinformation and I get 250 words in rebuttal. The DSM-IV (google it) list many variations of mild to incapacitating mental conditions, yet three of them constitute the roots of more than 90% of murders (rage murders, single murders, mass murders, serial murders) in America.

These three only have one even recognizable to the general public as a potentially dangerous condition. Due to mass media, TV and movies plots done by ignorant writers which exaggerate the psycho qualities of murderers for commercial success effects, the public is very misled about the worst dangers to them.

the three most dangerous mass murder types are:
(1) Anti-social Personality Disorder, or "sociopathy" in popular talk,
(2) Narcissistic Personality Disorder (not the popular concept of narcissism), and
(3) Paranoid Schizophrenic (the most recognizable delusional "crazy" the public knows about).

It is possible to have two or more mental disorders at the same time. Adam Lanza had a form of autism which led to him becoming anti-social. The anti-social disorder killed the kids, not the autism.

Sociopathy is extremely common, one lives in the nearest 13 houses to you. They do not all murder or mass murder, but being fundamentally anti-social, they break laws and hurt people in many ways because the like to. One in four girls is being molested before age 16 in one of those houses, or by a neighbor in one of those 13 houses.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder has many similarities but it is not the popular "ego-trip" idea of narcisssm. This person has a mental script they are acting out that makes them the star in "their movie" of their life. Given an abrupt shock to their worldview (spouse asks for divorce or boss fires them, or even somebody cuts them off in traffic, how dare they) and there is an explosion of violence we call "going postal". Familicides, murder-suicides, rampage killings often have this root cause.

Paranoids will hide their paranoia because, well, they are paranoid about how you will react to it.

David A. Keene has a son David Michael Keene, who just got out of prison after ten years sentence for attempted murder. The judge's sentence included 5 more years of supervision plus Keene is banned from gun possession for life.

Call it whatever you like. You can't shame a sociopath who has no conscience, but you can make them very unpopular which makes functioning like a sociopath preying on society a lot more difficult.

The DC Snipers used the BUSHMASTER M4 AR-15 same as Adam Lanza. When the cops arrested the snipers and got the gun they traced it back to a gun store in Tacoma, Washington. It could not be proven that a backdoor sale without a background check never happened, as the store says the snipers "stole" the gun that they never reported stolen. However, they paid $2,000,000 in a lawsuit as accomplices or enablers for not keeping better control of their gun. BUSHMASTER paid another half million dollars as co-defendant.

This NOT EXAGGERATION -- it's history.

This is NOT OVER-REACTING -- it's smart action.

You have identified yourself as somebody who cares about guns more than the slaughtered kids. There is no cure for sociopathy so further discussion with you is pointless from the perspective of changing your mind. When George W. Bush swept in republicans controlled all three branches of govt completely. They got stuff done.

When Barack Obama swept in the democrats had control )barely) of all three branches of govt (and despite many republican sabotage filibusters) they got stuff done.

If you want to get stuff done you need one-party rule because republicans won't work with democrats.

We need to take clear majorities next election and we need to work every single day to get there.

Lies with statistics. The gun deaths is what we are talking about, although guns are also used in rapes and assaults but if the victim didn't die are not part of the numbers.

It's a sleazy way to hide the fact that gun deaths are astronomical because rapes and assaults are down, and lumping in unrelated crimes can phoney up the statistics to make guns look better

32,000 Americans will die needless deaths. Our accomplice above things that's fine.

18,000 deaths will happen because easy access to plentiful guns will lead to suicides. When the DC Snipers were convicted of serial killing 10 people, police traced the weapon to the gun store where they stole it. The gun store and Bushmaster paid $2.5 million lawsuit settlement as accessory for providing the weapon through negligence. The NRA can be charged as accomplice and negligent homicide for 18,000 suicides that were largely preventable if the finality and easiness of death by guns was less available.

Lies is one symptom of ANTI-SOCIAL PERSONALITY DISORDER -- a mental illness that can bar a person from guns for life. Reckless disregard of the rights and safety of others is a second symptom. Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another, saying the pile of dead ain't so large.
