A TERRORIST named Joe Stark dive-bombed the Austin TX IRS office Feb-18-2010.
On February 19th, less than 24 hours later TEA PARTY PATRIOTS tweeted Joe Stark "AN AMERICAN HERO" for killing an IRS worker and a hapless passerby. On Feb 20th the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS blog echoed the American Hero tweet word for word.
The IRS began profiling terrorists exactly as Newt wants, but he's mad when HIS TERRORISTS get profiled. The TEA PARTY PATRIOTS also hosted the Michigan Militia on their website, whose member blew up the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, and their blog claimed affiliation with the HUTAREE militia even as the arrest was still in progress of that terrorist cell.
The problem is NOT ENOUGH govt is profiling the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS.

Shame of Washington Post for using emotionally inflammable language to inaccurately and false describe the situation.
CONSERVATIVE GROUPS were not targeted specifically groups with TEA PARTY and/or PATRIOTS in the name received closer scrutiny. CONSERVATIVES were not targeted. If people using TEA PARTY and/or PATRIOTS received extra scrutiny from the IRS, there is a simple explanation that has nothing to do with conservatism.
On February 18th, 2010, Joe Stack flew his airplane into an Austin, Texas, IRS office, TARGETING THE IRS. One IRS agent was murdered in the terrorist attack and $38,000,000.00 worth of property damage occurred to the taxpayers of America.
With 24 hours the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS official Twitter account took credit for Joe Stack as one of theirs and called him "AN AMERICAN HERO".

Now notice that groups with TEA PARTY and/or PATRIOTS in their names only received further scrutiny AFTER the murder of one of theirs was applauded by a group with all those words in the name.
The IRS should not be giving tax-exempt status to terrorist groups whom are murdering their employees and correctly ought to give deep scrutiny to groups which would be taxpayer subsided terrorists.
There is nothing complicated or insidious about this. The IRS asked further questions in a questionnaire and asked for webpages and blogs to determine if these groups were terrorist related groups organizing home-grown terrorism.
The Questionnaires were three pages, or ONE-TENTH the length of the questionnaire that the Senate GOP-NRA just required of the EPA nominee.

The Tea Party is owned and controlled top-down by the Koch-Murdoch axis. Koch's CSE (Citizens for a Sound Economy) splintered into Koch-FreedomWorks and Koch-Americans for Koch-Prosperity. The dying Jack Kemp merged his group's mailing list with CSE during the change. This gave the new groups nearly 800,000 names and addresses from their inception to use. The Koch-dad Fred was co-founder of the John Birch Society which established the practice of keeping Kooks on Tap by signing them up on mailing lists and subscription roles -- if these dufuses could be gulled into believing in the Floridated Water Conspiracy you could mind control them for anything you wanted. The John Birch, CSE and Freedomworks/AFP mailing lists have a lot of overlap.
Tea Party Patriots is a US trademark owned by four long-time Republican operative. The Tea Party Iron Fist Logo used at Glenn Beck's 9-12 rally in Washington DC is owned by the Koch Freedomworks, as was the stage and microphone at the 9-12 DC rally. Murdoch had Fox Newz promoters embedded on the bus, the Tea Party Express bus, and Murdoch's Fox Newz gave hundreds of thousands of dollars of commercial television time to promoting every little whistlestop that bus made, with small crowds ginned up from that John Bircher Koch mailing list.
Koch and Murdoch worked together well in the past when Rupert Murdoch was director of Philip Morris Serial murder Tobacco Mafia Raceteering Corporation, Murdoch was also director of Charles Koch-founded CATO Institute, sitting on the board side by side with Director David Koch. Tobacco Mafioso Murdoch directed millions of dollars to Koch think tanks like CSE and CATO and Reason Foundation, to name a few named in court records of convictions of the Tobacco Mafia Racketeers. Koch-Cato also always had (maybe still does) a vice president of Philip Morris (Altria) on their board of directors. Koch-Reason Foundation had American Tobacco Heir Gordon Gray on the board until the day he died -- Gordon Gray was 1st US psy-war services director who waged psy-war on US Americans in a 50-year fraud since convicted of racketeering and frauds. Murdoch gave Geoff Bible a high paying job after his career at Philip Morris was finished, and other PM executives moved into Murdoch News Corp empire at high pay.

The Constitution has been amended 27 times. It's not easy and it's reserved for truly important matters. If you would like phone bill metadata added to the 4th Amendment, go for it, because it is not protected there right now and never was.
If you would like your SKYPE calls to 60 countries protected, amend the Constitution because that data is nowhere protected in the Constitution now.

The REVOLUTIONARY TEA PARTY was "patriots" engaged in lucrative tea smuggling on American ships, protesting a TAX CUT by the king, which would undersell them and spoil their market, putting them out of business (which was the King's intention, to put illegal smugglers out of business).
These Koch-pawns, neo Tea-Klux-Klan get everything of history wrong. America was invented without God in the govt -- they easily could have made a state religion but they chose not to. If they had, it would have been Masonic, because most of them were high degree masons, not particularly christian. Govt was mainly supposed to be SOCIALIST: collective paying of court salaries, collective paying the military, collective Coast Guard, collective Post Office, collective upkeep of the President and Congress.
The Revolution was fought on deficit spending -- they had no govt, no taxes, no revenues to pay the expenses of the army or shipping. They wrote contracts to pay later. That's the way the founders thought was best -- let the next generation pay for the many good things they will inherit -- why not, the freeloaders next generation could afford it? The constitution underlines contracts must be paid, but it does not necessarily enshrine capitalism as the default and mandatory system. Socialism is definitely allowed for, as well as other forms.
