"Intelligunt Desine" is the creationist version of theology pushed by the followers of the now dead self-styles "MESSIAH" Sun Myung Moon. The Moonie-funded Husdon Institute, which resides in the offices vacated for it by a Moonie propaganda book publishing business, created the "DISCOVERY INSTITUTE" in order to promote Moon's theology.
Since the Moonie claim to divinity requires a literal interpretation of the Old Testament, The "Unification Church" of Moon's could not attract an endless stream of new followers unless the old testament was viable in a scientific age as a choice. The "controversy" was created by Discovery Institute, several steps masked as a Moonie operation, to deceive fundamentalists into supporting "teach the controversy", or "teach both sides" in public school science classes.
If Moon's role was known, the "christians" would recoil in horror from Moon's theological trap.

Sandy is the widest storm ever recorded. Of the most expensive storms, Sandy is in the top ten without the total even known yet. The flood levels in NYC were a foot higher than the record set LAST YEAR by Irene, a record high level never seen in 108 years the subway tunnels have been there.

We have gassed the planet with more CO2 since then. Hurricanes are the heat relief that saves us from planet death. We have to PRAY FOR HURRICANES if we want to live.
