The CATO INSTITUTE was deeply involved with organized crime of the 50-year RICO Tobacco Conspiracy which corporate serial-murdered collectively 22,000,000 Americans and ten times that number worldwide. Every Koch enterprise worked diligently on the frauds. Philip Morris Tobacco Company (now hiding out under the alias Altria) had a vice president on the board to watch over it's major investments, and for a period of time it had Board of Directors member and major PM stockholder Rupert Murdoch on the Cato Board of Directors.
The A.S.S. Coalition (TASSC = The Advancement of Sound Science Coalition) sent it's prominent fraudsters to CATO to pick up laundered tobacco money paycheck, and later, laundered Exxon paychecks, as "Cato Senior Fellows". Goodfellows indeed, like S. Fred Singer, Steven Malloy, Frederick Seitz, and Bruce Ames, to name a few. Reason Institute was so deeply involved in the Tobacco frauds that it had Burton Gray on the Board of Directors perpetually, and keeps a Burton Gray intern honorarium going today. Burton Gray was son of Gordon Gray, RJ Renolds Tobacco heir, who started America's first psychological warfare department in 1956, and nephew of Burton Gray who was CEO of RJR at the same time.
"Citizens For A Sound Economy" before it did the shuffle-and-jive two-step to escape it's past as the Tobacco Trials heated up, and morphed into FREEDOMWORKS-CSE and "Americans For Prosperity" Tea Parties, was dominated by Burton Gray's brother (Tobacco heir) C. Boydon Gray, who funneled millions of tobacco criminal dollars into CSE. The Tobacco Racketeers were so desperate to discredit govt that they literally FOUNDED the tea party. In 2002 through 2005 the CSE website run by Gray-Koch operated the USTEAPARTY.COM website domain and mirrored it exactly on the CSE.org website. This was before Freedomworks and before AFP existed, during the first years of George W. Bush's presidency when they had already "taken their country back".
The Serial Murderers (for which there is no statute of limitations for murder) want to sanitize CATO's history and records. It is desperation to avoid the lethal injection couch which has led them to attempt the overthrow of the United States, and even corruption of the Supreme Court. They want the federal cops handcuffed and taken off the beat by getting rid of these damnable "regulations" that stop them from corporate murder whensoever they please.
