As best as can be determined by the evidence publicly lying on the table is:
--- (1) Eric Holder and the Justice Department obeyed the Constitution and obeyed all laws, not interfering with American citizens right to buy arms under the applicable state and federal laws.
--- (2) The presumed innocent American citizens purchased weapons at duly licensed gun shops as they had a lawful right to do.
--- (3) No "known criminals" violated the prohibition of felons owning firearms, despite the news article reckless implication that such occurred.
--- (4) Private American citizens disposed of their private property lawfully acquired firearms in full accordance of applicable state and federal laws and no violation of law was observed warranting arrest and prosecution.
--- (5) The purchased firearms have occasionally turned up at crime scenes, and in fact most firearms turning up at crime scenes were once lawfully purchased at federally licensed gun shops someplace. Guns at Mexican crime scenes appear to originate from Arizona, while guns at NYC crime scenes seem to originate from Virginia. Many crime scene guns have been tracked back to federally licensed gun dealers selling at gun shows in Las Vegas to out-of-state gangland straw-buyers without any background checks. It happens, people die.

Why isn't the reichwing defending Eric Holder for defending gun-owner rights to buy and sell as many guns as they like exactly as the present gun laws allow. ISSA is the one standing for govt interference in private citizens enjoying their 2nd amendment remedies exactly within the letter of existing federal and state gun laws.
