While I'm no fan of the Koch brothers, I don't see how their involvement justifies increased scrutiny in and of itself.

The Koch's are involved in a hostile overthrow of the United States of America, plus the corporation Koch Industries negligence of another pipeline has killed people (google: Koch killed Danielle Dawn Smalley), plus they have polluted six states with acts which received CRIMINAL fines of $55,000,000). The Koch CSE gave a slush fund of millions to their treasurer, terrorist who helped overthrow a Nicaraguan popularly-elected democratic  government (which is back now) through the Koch-bagman CMA-KKK Tom Posey. The Koch brothers aided and abetted the CONVICTED RICO organized crime tobacco Mafia to commit frauds which helped murder 400,000 Americans per year (google TobaccoDocuments.org).

I would say any one of those are good enough reason to keep the Koch's out of the pipeline business.

JP Morgan got his start in business by buying defective rifles from the US army during the early days of the civil war, rifles sold for scrap metal value in the east USA and selling them to army buyers out in the Midwest for a fat profit. What a freakin' windbag taking the long way around -- OBL was an enemy commander of an active army who declared war on the US, who confessed (bragged) about bombing two US embassies and the World Trade Center -- of course it's legal to kill him anywhere you find him.

The propaganda value to the enemy of a live OBL on trial was worth more than any informatio­n which could be extracted from him. Why is it that we are aware the Mississipp­i floods and Texas has droughts and no one has ever put federal funding into a pipe line to transfer the water where it floods to where we have droughts its not like this is the first time for these same conditions to occur, people lose homes, fema is called out, state of emergancy branded and yet no one spends money on prevention other than on levees that dont hold? The sentence of death of the leader of a war against the USA was executed by the proper US agents in accordance to proper procedures. There is no credible dispute over the correctness of this action. Traitors to the US would like to sow division and wedge issues on this subject. This is not the time for debates as the enemy is still planning attacks today.

The bottom line: torture stopped in 2006. If torture got Bin Laden's address before 2006 than Bush needs to go to prison for concealing that informatio­n for five years and aiding and abetting Osama Bin Laden to roam freely.

You don't want to go down that path -- protecting Bush from War Crimes trials has alread been guaranteed by Barry, but you can't protect Bush from prison for concealing Osama Bin Laden's address for 5 years. You might want to accept the fact that we went 200 years and won all previous big wars (except Vietnam) without using torture, and the only war we did lose was the Vietnam War where we used torture. Torture is against internatio­nal law that we forced the world to accept. America forced internatio­nal law to condemn torture by the Axis in WWII at post-war Nuremberg trials. WE are the ones who made it illegal everywhere on Earth to use torture.
