First there was an ICE AGE, then there was an interlude, then there was civilization and science plus a few outliers and fringy types floating trial balloons that had weak support and were rejected by careful scrutiny.
TEMPERATURE is only ONE WAY to measure thermal-kinetic energy. You can add heat to water with lots of ice in it and the temperature will hardly budge until the ice is all melted.
Heat and motion are readily transferable. Rub two sticks real fast and you can heat up to a fire. Add heat to still water and it can begin to bubble furiously.

NO. The Science is IN. Global Warming is REAL, there is only ONE ATMOSPHERE and ONLY ONE OCEAN all connected together, making ONE CONNECTED GLOBAL WEATHER-CLIMATE REALITY.
There is no weather now NOT connected to global over-energizing.
The Same science principles that makes a CO2 laser cut steel operates in the atmosphere to make increasingly unfavorable weather that will kill off most life. EVERY TIME IN EARTH HISTORY that the CO2 went high there were mass extinctions and climate catastrophes.
